Under the hood
Technical overview
Flutter app for Windows, Android and iOS with an encrypted SQLite database (SQLCipher) on the device. Money is stored in the smallest currency unit and tax is rounded per line by country. Prints to 58 / 80 mm thermal printers over USB, Bluetooth or network, and A4. Supplier-bill scanning reads text on the device without internet. Licensed by offline activation codes: 7-day trial, then 1, 2, 3 or 5-year plans.
Data & privacy
Shop, sales and customer data is stored encrypted on your own device — not on a third-party cloud. Backup and restore to a file is built in.
FAQ
Does SELLO Retail need the internet?
No. Billing, stock, customers and reports all work offline on the device.
Which devices does it run on?
Windows PCs, Android tablets and phones, and iPad / iPhone (iOS).
Can bills be sent to customers on WhatsApp?
Yes. Turn on auto-send and every bill goes to the customer’s WhatsApp as a PDF after the sale — or send any bill with one tap.
